iThe Society contributed towards a hydrological survey to further understand how the onshore works of the windfarm projects might impact the underground Aquifer on which the Wardens Trust and surrounding cottages depend on the cliffs at Thorpeness/Sizewell. Their thank you message is below. SEAS £30,000 APPEAL - WE HAVE RAISED OVER £25,000 - THANK YOU SO MUCH
A big thank you for giving so generously. Together we have raised over £25,000. What an achievement. Importantly, this means that we can now fulfill all our pledges with regard to further research into the impacts these projects will have on both the local tourist economy and the underground Aquifer on which the Wardens Trust and surrounding cottages depend. These important pieces of work have now been commissioned and will feed into the Examinations before their close on 6 July 2021. In addition, we are now in a position to engage a specialist Westminster consultant to take forward SEAS advocacy work at the highest level. |
